Shipping & Returns
Claims for an exchange or a refund must be received within 14 days of purchase. To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. Proof of purchase must be presented to receive a refund. Otherwise, you will receive an exchange or store credit. Please contact sales@lily-lark.com for a return label.
REFUNDS
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within 10-12 business days.
LATE OR MISSING REFUNDS
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again. Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. Next, contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted. If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at sales@lily-lark.com.
EXCHANGES
To process an exchange, contact sales@lily-lark.com within 14 days of purchase. We will send you a return label. Once your return is received and inspected, we will ship you the new item. You will not be charged for shipping back the original item.
We will replace items if they are defective or damaged. As Lily-Lark parasols are handmade, irregularities in sewing and attachment of frame and canopy elements are considered to be normal. Items are relatively sturdy, but cannot withstand strong wind or soaking rain. Getting caught in the rain generally will not hurt the parasol, but being soaked will stretch the fabric. Bright colors may fade in the sunlight and some gentle fading of the canopy should be expected. Please contact sales@lily-lark.com to process a replacement if your items are defective or arrive damaged.
SHIPPING
Domestic shipping is calculated by carrier, and is shipped via UPS or USPS domestically, and UPS or DHL overseas. Our warehouse charges us a $6.25 handling fee for each order. We pass $6 of that on to you. Most orders can now process same day if purchased before noon, and delivery is based on location. Pre-orders will take however long the shipment takes to reach the US, and should process within two days of being loaded into inventory. Our warehouse is in NJ. Your domestic shipment may arrive in as little as one day or take up to a week in the contiguous United States.
Unless you are making an exchange, you will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.
Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary.
*Note to international customers:
For all orders shipping outside of the U.S., the ship-to recipient will be responsible for any taxes or customs duties incurred. Lily-Lark is not responsible for any fees charged by customs. As of July 1, 2025, we are using "Managed Markets" to process most overseas orders, which will include tax and duties, for your convenience.
International orders may be subject to delays due to customs clearance procedures in the destination country. Unfortunately, we are unable to mark merchandise as “gift” or "samples" or “no commercial value”.
International orders shipped via Managed Markets from Shopify will show you all costs at time of purchase.
