The Lark parasol uses a more traditional construction of gluing the fabric to the ribs. It has a seam in the fabric, unlike the Lily-Lark, which is one piece of fabric attached at the ends.

MEET WASET

Part of the LARK line, WASET was designed in collaboration with vintage fashion aficionada and Egyptologist Dr. Colleen Darnell, better known by her fans on Instagram as Vintage Egyptologist. WASET was inspired by art on the ceilings of tombs in the ancient city of the same name— the art dates to the 1300’s B.C.E.! It was reinterpreted for our parasols by artist Stefan Jans of the textile studio PRINTS OF ORANGE.
