How Lily-Lark Parasols are Made

Handcrafted Lily-Lark parasols are produced with care and attention to detail. A small group works together, with each member of the team having their own piece of the parasol to construct. The fabric is laid out, and canopies are cut, stitched and ironed into working circles. Our bamboo frames are carved by artisans who then attach our custom printed fabric to the wooden ribs. We don’t skimp on any element of the construction. We work to make the canopies smooth, and a seamstress stitches the final carrying case.
